Quidditch 101 Seeks New Recruits

11:12 pm - dagaz

The pitch was positively packed with passionate (but not particularly peaceful) adolescents, all eagerly awaiting the Quidditch Maven's next words. Eyes hard like the yellow diamonds they were frequently compared to, Rolanda Hooch stalked the length of the pitch, eyeing each recruit in turn. Truly, it was a remarkable turnout - yet there was still room for more.

If Quidditch is your "thing" and you've got a hankering to learn more about how it's played on HEX, hop over to the Quidditch Pitch for a festival of fun hosted by the extraordinary Quidditch overseer team!

Quidditch 101

10:02 pm - dagaz

Rolanda Hooch, venerable maven of the Quidditch Pitch, surveyed the motley crew assembled before her. Eyes the color of Hufflepuff diamonds took note of their builds and characteristics, mentally placing them into positions that she deemed best suited for them - but that wouldn't be up to her. She was pleased to see that every House was represented, from first years right through graduates.

The ever-vigilant Madam Hooch is back on the pitch, but not for some healthy inter-house competition - for Quidditch 101. Ready? Good. Grab your quills, parchment, and broomsticks, because you're up!

New Issue of The Quibbler!

8:16 pm - Zoe

Whether you prefer to start your day with toast, cereal, bacon, fruit, waffles, or something else entirely, chances are that you have a preferred breakfast. Then again, maybe your preferred breakfast is having no breakfast at all? Hmm. Either way, you can't deny that breakfast foods are wonderfully delicious. The Quibbler's writers definitely couldn't, so that's what this month is all about - breakfast! Unfortunately, the office is now a sticky, syrupy mess. While I go clean that up, you should grab a syrup-free copy of the May issue of The Quibbler to read while you munch on your favorite breakfast food of choice!

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments about The Quibbler, please either visit The Newsstand or send an owl to Zoe.
