We've successfully moved onto the new server. As mentioned before, the server is extremely more powerful than the one we were on. All of the specifications for the new server are pretty much double of what the old server had (processors, hard drives, and cache in particular). The new server is definitely necessary for Hex to progress fully into the future. We also switched server companies in the process to a more reliable and reputable one.
It is possible that there could be unexpected scripting issues/errors since a lot of the server software is newer versions. If you come across anything, feel free to report it to me or Josh.
Thanks for the patience with the downtime during the switch!

That's right Eagles and Lions: elections have arrived! Every six months or so, each house elects seven users to represent their house and to lead them through the upcoming term. These staff members moderate the Common Room and its subforums, plan house events, and encourage unity and activity.
Gryffindors and Ravenclaws should head to their respective Common Rooms to check things out. Be sure to read the rules before doing anything else, or you might disqualify yourself from the running by accident. ;)
Good luck to everyone and a big thanks to the outgoing staff members as well!
Everyone should also be sure to help Gryffindor stock up for the next term with a Night at the Movies. Buy a forum title, your way into the Gryffie Common Room for six months, your very own action figure, and much more!
