Madam Hooch surveyed the sea of students entering the stands. The drizzle didn't appear to be stopping the stands from filling to capacity. "Spectators! A quick announcement for you as well" she called out. "Conditions are a bit dreary, I know. No grumbling though, a little rain never hurt anyone. But please, do play it safe, no horseplay out here." With the waiting crowd at her back she made her towards the waiting players to get the game started.

I take my seat in the section for Griffendor fans, wearing the red and gold scarf and gloves in addition to my warmest robe and cloak. I wait and watch as the Slytherin fans gather in their part of the stands. Then look to the field, waiting for the teams to assemble.

Sasha entered the empty stands, the perfect opportunity to find the right seat. A crimson scarf accented with gold hung around her neck, not quite secure, but there in case she needed it. The weather in these parts was so unpredictable. Of course, today was a lousy day to be flying around in the air, a gentle misty rain beginning to take over the pitch.

The teams didn't seem to be on the field yet, so Sasha wasn't even sure who was opposing Gryffindor. I suppose I should keep up with the going ons around here a bit better. A lonely sigh fell from her lips as her gaze swept the emptiness around her. She was used to being alone, but she'd never been around so many people at once. Her imagjnation filled in each seat and her chest tightened just a tad. "Definitelyneed to sit somewhere with an easy escape."

She finally found a seat, placing her Ravenclaw crest Jacket on the seat beside her. Today she was here to support Kali, but that didn't mean she couldn't still rep her house. Underthe jacket she'd placed her book bag, and after opening her umbrella, she picked up where she'd left off in her Charms reading.

I wave to the other Gryffindors that have already found seats and sighed, dreading the long walk to the top of the bleachers to join them. Looking out over the spectator stands, it seems that both Slytherin and Gryffindor have about the same amount of people here so far. I finally reach the top. As I stopped to catch my breath, I think to myself, "I need to exercise more often instead of spending my time in the library!" I pull my cloak tighter around me and grab my winter cap that almost blows off my head. "Hmmm, I hope this wind doesn't affect the gameplay, or if it does, I hope it helps Gryffindor!" I smile to myself with that thought and continue over towards the Gryffindor group. By the time I reach the others, I'm glad that I came early. The seats were filling up quickly. I take a seat with the others, passing out Gryffindor clappers.
"I bought two thermoses of hot chocolate, you guys! Grab a mug and help yourselves! We have to keep warm until the game starts. Then the cheering on the team will take over!"

Fallon sighed as she trudged down to the Pitch. It just had to be raining, didn’t it? There was no way she was missing the match, of course. She loved Quidditch too much, she had a duty as Hufflepuff Captain, and of course, her girlfriend was playing. She wondered if her head-to-toe tomato attire was too much, then shrugged. She knew it would make Mack happy, and she’d quit caring what randoms thought years ago. She’d even reverted her hair back to its natural blonde, unable to stomach the way it clashed with the crimson robes she wore.

Finding a seat was easy this early. She spread out her usual supplies on the seats around her. Blankets, pillows and snacks were accompanied today by large umbrellas. She put her bright-red combat boots up on the seat in front of her and brought a flask of hot cocoa to her lips. Much better… Remembering the finishing touch, she sat up straight again and dug through her bag. She unrolled the large banner she’d enchanted the night before and hung it from the seats in front. A large golden lion pranced about proudly beside the words “Go Mack!” in foot-high scarlet letters.

"Oh Merlin's Moustache Wax! They're starting our teams' Quidditch match on Halloween???? Seriously? I swear Quidditch fans take no notice of anything besides Quidditch." Crimson Elm growled to herself as she padded up the stands still wearing in her Black Jaguar animagus skin. She found her friends camped out in the Gryffindor section going through their haul of sweets to see what they had gotten after going Trick or Treating through the castle.
She plopped down and dropped the pumpkin basket she had been carrying in her mouth down on the bench seat and transitioned back into her human form. “Good evening fellow candy collectors. How’d we all do tonight?”
Several small raindrops splattered on her now furless face, causing her to wrinkle her nose in disgust. With a Harumpf she pulled out her wand and sent a repelling spell over their heads ala invisible umbrella. She scooched in next to her buddy and started picking through their combined treasure stash as they waited for the match to start. The autumn air was brisk as the moon rose over the Quidditch pitch on All Hallow’s Eve. Much as she hated to admit it, she enjoyed being in the stands watching Gryffindor play and rooting her House on to victory. Now if they’d just get this show on the road.

Jericho pulled his coat tighter around him as the rain fell ever so gently to the ground. As he approached the Quidditch pitch he looked around to see if he could see any of his Slytherin classmates. He glanced up and saw the entire Quidditch pitch and all the stands shrouded in mist. As he climbed the stairs he could feel the misty rain settle on him and start to seep into his coat. All of a sudden the rain that had fallen on Jericho was repelled and fell quietly onto the stairs. Before Jericho had left the castle for the game he had used the 'Repello' spell on himself to keep the rain off him.

Jericho finally reached the seats he wanted to watch the game from. As there was no one from Slytherin there yet he had his choice of all the seats. He chose right in the middle of the front row. He sat down and peered through the mist at the pitch below. He could see Madam Hooch walking slowly, with her broom in her hand, to the middle of the pitch. Even though there were no competitors out yet he shouted, "GO SLYTHERIN!"

Getting comfortable Jericho reached into his pocket and pulled out a bottle of Fire Whiskey he had got from Hogsmeade the previous weekend. He looked around making sure no one was watching and took a swig from the bottle. He could feel it warming him up from his feet to his head. All he needed now was the match to begin.

Following the throng of people down towards the pitch, Chloe stuck close to her friends Jess and Piper. Being both pure blood the girls a lot more about the game than Chloe.
"My first match I' so excited!" Chloe squealed as they were herded out the great front doors and out into the drizzling rain.
"Aww NO it's raining, does that mean its cancel? Do they cancel quidditch?" moaned as they pushed and shoved their way through the crowed.
"Ha, nah mate. They play in anything, last summer my dad and I watched a game in 40ºC it was disgusting" Jess said her aussie accent strong in every word.
"You just wait till we get down there, its a ruthless game a bit of rain isn't going to stop nothin'"
The girls reached the stands sliding past the many rowings of red and gold until they found some seats. Wishing they had brought umbrellas the girls wrapped they cloaks tightly around their shoulders, shivering. Madam Hooch turned to the crowed and reminded them to be nice as the players made their way onto the field, the Slytherin spectators could be seen glaring at the back of Madam Hooches head. As the Gryffindor team made their way towards the middle of the field, Chloe's excitement and pride rose in her chest.
"GO! GO! GRYFFINDOR!" She screamed with the crowd

It was a dreary day in November. Alex made her way over to the Quidditch pitch, buzzing with excitement. She wasn’t going to allow the weather to dampen her spirits. In fact, she quite loved this type of weather as it was so gloomy. It was the perfect aftermath to Halloween. She still sported her pumpkin antenna headband and Halloween make-up. She hadn’t bothered to sleep last night what with the Halloween party still raving. I’ll regret the lack of sleep ‘till after the match, she thought. This was her favourite match of the season, owing to its competitiveness, and nothing was going to spoil her mood.

She climbed up and up towards the Slytherin stands, not caring that the damp had caused her hair to frizz. Upon reaching the top, she found she was one of two people there. She decided to sit on the front row, just a couple of feet away from the Slytherin student already sat down. Shivering slightly from the cold, Alex brought out her favourite mug from under her robes and conjured up a pumpkin spice latte. Her hands were gathering warmth from the hot drink when she noticed the Slytherin next to her take a swig of fire whiskey.

‘Hey, mind if you put a little bit of that in here?’ she pointed to her mug. Pumpkin spice latte and fire whiskey, it was bound to happen sometime.

Jericho looked at the young witch that had sat down next to him. He saw her take out a mug from under her robes then smelt the unmistakeable aroma of a spiced pumpkin latte. He taken aback when she said, 'Hey, mind if you put a little bit of that in here?'

He smiled at her said, "Yeh! Sure!" He quickly looked around to make sure there weren't any teachers lurking, took out the bottle of fire whiskey and poured a large splash into her mug. "Make sure you don't tell anyone. Students, not even fifth years, are allowed to have fire whiskey in the castle grounds, let alone share it around. My name is Jerico. Is this your first Quidditch match?"

Jericho then spotted a few more Slytherin students start to file into the stands. He took the bottle out and tipped a bit more into the mug and said, "Better have a bit more, won't be able to do once more students turn up." Once he put the bottle away he jumped up and yelled "Let's get on with the match!"

Just as he was sitting back down the rain started to pour down on them. He took his wand out, pointed it at the girl next to him and said, "Repello!! There that will help you stay a bit drier during the match."

Lily made her way across the stands for a empty seat. Though her house weren't playing, Lily always loved a good game of Quidditch.

Sparrow made his way down to the pitch, an umbrella resting on his shoulder. It'd been a little while since he'd come down for a game, but his homework load was light, so what the hell, he had nothing better to do. As he began scouring the stands for an ideal seat, Sparrow caught sight of someone decked out in all red, their blonde hair spilling over their cherry colors.

Is that Fallon? He thought incredulously as he approached the girl, who was well situated with snacks, blankets, and umbrellas. Wow. It is Fallon. Wonder why she's so.... enthusiastic about the Gryffindors. "Hey." He said, coming up beside Fallon and tapping her on the shoulder. "Mind if I join you?"

Fallon turned inquisitively, a familiar voice beckoning to her eardrums. Brown eyes widened at a face she hadn’t seen since the summer, and she broke into a beaming smile. “Sparrow!” She smoothed out a blanket beside her as if making room in a crowd and gestured invitingly. “Have ye come tae keep us company?” Genuine affection and warmth spilled from her. She hadn’t realised how much she’d missed the introspective boy in front of her.

“Whit have ye been up tae? How was yer summer?” She realised she was babbling, but waved the thought away. She was too tickled that Sparrow had come to say hi to care what anyone thought of her. She caught his gaze slipping to her unusually red outfit and grinned. Glancing quickly at the Pitch, she observed that the teams were still huddled out of the rain. She was early, after all. No sign of Mack, yet. Fallon hoped she’d get to have a good look at her girlfriend’s flying, as she’d only seen her in practice before.

“Fancy a brownie?” she offered Sparrow, holding out a plate.

Running down the busy pathway towards the quidditch stadium after waking up late, Jane had forgotten she was meant to bring a few goodluck treats to her friends on the Gryffindor team.
"Merlin's Beard, I am so late." She trudged through the now wet pathway due to it raining.
Slipping here and there she had finally arrived outside the teams waiting rooms.
Giving them a sheepish smile she handed them the pumpkin filled with all sorts of delicious treats to boost their energy.
Afterwards she headed for the Gryffindor stands where she sat peacefully waiting for her friends to step foot onto the field so she can cheer along with the rest of her fellow Lions.😄

Apollo whistled as he made his way to the spectator stands. He really did not know whom to cheer for, so he just decided to wear his usual light yellow linen top. He knew Fallon was cheering for Gryffindor, her whole wardrobe was screaming red, he thought she was possessed by a giant fire truck.

The autumn air made him relax a bit, but he was troubled. The stands were slowly filling with students, and he chose to sit away from his teammates. He was not really in the mood to talk to anyone right now. His little sister owled him that their mum was drinking a lot again, their parents were fighting a lot once more.

Ugh, they should just live apart from each other. Why can’t Artemis be magic so I can take care of her here? Apollo, just take a deep breath and relax. Use this match as a distraction. Now whom to cheer for? Slytherin so I can get away from Fallon?

He ran his fingers through his chocolate brown hair and sighed, deciding to seat at the spot nearest to him. He looked around the Pitch eagerly, wondering when the action would start.

Hm. It was quite hilarious. The snakes versus the lions. Lions, more like the raggedy bear that Draco sleeps with. So she wrapped herself with the warm, red and gold hemmed cloak that she had used a spell to change the colours of. Sneaking behind the bleachers, she went over to the Gryffindor stands, chuckled as she set some primed Dungbombs, ready to explode. Speeding away, she sent a blue flame streaming towards the fuse. The chaos that ensued was amazing. Green-brown fumes went spiralling across the Gryffindor crowd, and all whilst the Slytherins looked on, grinned, and laughed at those bumbling, crazy idiots.
