My name online is Shava (pronounced "Shah-vah"). It's a native american word for the moment between lightning & thunder; literally thier word for "anticipation." I have been playing in RPGs for almost 25 years, but this is the best text-adventure site I have seen. I have now been 'blessed' with the position of Role Play Tutor in the Ravenclaw RP School and hope that both skilled and non-skilled Ravenclaws will continue to increase their skills with us there. :D
I have done alot of traveling in my life and have been in more than 15 countries & 40 states; rarely with a tour group and always with the natives. I have many friends in many parts of the world and the Americas; both online and off (from age 5 to 65). I'm even married to a woman from the Netherlands. I don't judge based on age, gender, or homeland. Time zones make my online friendships much MORE interesting! ;)
However, do not friend me unless you know me. I have had some bad online experiences with people who initially pretended to be friends -- this makes me a little wary. :( If we become friends over time online here then great! :) BUT I am not a trophy to be collected; I Like FRIENDS. Want help with 1st year homework? Wonder why you got a bad grade? Want advice on how to improve?
Try the following first:
1) Most of the answers in the homework are in the lesson itself OR the textbook provided. READ FIRST! I always copy out the lesson into another format like Notepad to make it easier for me to read and refer to later on. Saving a copy of your homework also makes it easier to follow what the teachers want in different classes.
2) If you want me to look at your homework and give you an opinion or help, give me a copy of what you did AFTER it has been graded and past the turn-in date. Then I'll be glad to help, but I'm not going to DO your homework for you.
3) If you want to have some Roleplaying help, take a look at my HEX Library contribution first (down below). If you still want help Owl me and I'll help where I can.
