Caption:  HEX Pride 2025, my first as a D.O. Moderator | My item suggestion This flag was created by Valentino Vecchietti in 2021 as an improvement on Danial Quasar's 2018 Progress Pride flag that didn't include the yellow arrow with the purple ring. The updated design reflects the need to include under-represented intersex people in the broader Pride imagery. The transgender flag colours and the black and brown representing BIPOC (with the black having the additional meaning representing those lost to HIV/AIDS and the stigma surrounding it) are placed in the shape of an arrow to the left of the original Pride flag design. This solution not only sought to improve the flag's legibility, but also placed discriminated minorities at the forefront. The arrow of the chevron points to the right to emphasise progression and forward movement, while it being on the left edge shows that progress still needs to be made for full equality, especially for the communities the chevron colours represent.
