What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
There were a couple like HEXian of the Month being Zen Squirrel. I know her and I truly think she is awesome without having to read the article. I was feeling terrible sad due to personal stuff happening at home and she took the time to chat with me about how I was doing. She would later send an occasional note to check up on me. The article is true but it can’t put into words what an exceptional person she is to me and all she encounters around her.

The next article had me laughing and saying “Yup, that’s Professor Slughorn, alright!” I felt bad for poor Katie who was thrilled to interview him. It’s funny how Professor Slughorn doesn’t realize he has insulted Katie. However, Katie does not let that stop her and pushes on with the interview. She was a trooper and did her best to not let him upset her. I was laughing at how Professor Slughorn couldn’t remember her name. It reminded me of Ron Weasley. Then Harry Potter happened to pass by and she was forgotten.

If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
Why didn’t you shared your secrets when creating potions such as in your potion book that Harry Potter stole, I mean borrowed. What potion would you have used on your worst enemy and why?

- What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
My favourite article was the Devil's Advocate article. I enjoy reading articles from alternative perspectives and the concept of illegal potion brewing definitely tickled my taste buds. I love the way that the Romeo and Juliet aspect was brought in, especially considering it's supposed to be a love play, but is actually a tragedy. I also love the editors note at the bottom and feel that it definitely adds to the quirkiness of the Quibbler, which is what makes it so unique.

⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
My favourite potion is probably a toss up between Veritaserum and Polyjuice Potion. I think that the Veritaserum potion would be particularly useful to get people to tell you the truth and ensure you have the full, accurate story, especially if it's for illegal potion brewing I also think that Polyjuice Potion would be a nice potion to brew too because it gives you the opportunity to be someone else and take a break from being you. An escape from reality essentially is what it could be.

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
I reckon it would either be an invisibility potion so that they could get up to lots of different tricks, or it would be Amortentia. From a Muggle point of view, true love is hard to find, and even if it was used in the same way Merope used it on Tom Riddle, it would be possible for a Muggle to have someone infatuated with them.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
Modern Day, I think I would change into Professor McGonagall, just to see what life is like living as a determined, hard working, fair, person who has achieved a lot in their life. In days gone by, I'd love to have transformed into Snape to see just how many students actually liked him and how he interacted with people outside of work.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
If you could be remembered for any one Potion, which potion would it be and why. I think a question like this would really let me understand the real Professor Snape and see what secrets he could divulge unwittingly with a question like this.

I think I like the healing potions the most. Pepper-up Potion for example would be great in winter! They all work so much quicker than muggle medicines, and would help so many people. I also like Felix Felicis, and I think it would be really useful when inventing new potions or spells as it would be almost impossible to go wrong. It could also be used during dangerous situations like facing Voldemort!

I think potions for making people look better would be most popular. People would use a lot of beautifying potions every day. Rich people would also use Felix Felicis constantly I think.

I'm not sure I'd like to transform into anyone really. I like being myself. If I had to I might change myself into a museum/art gallery curator or something so I could have access to all of the beautiful things in storage for a while

I guess I'd ask Snape if he created the improvements to potions through trial and error, or if he just had a 'feeling' or instinct for what was correct. This really interests me because we don't really see anyone creating any spells or potions during the series, so we don't know how it would be done.

What is your favorite potion and why?

My favorite potion is Polyjuice Potion. Because then I could turn into whom ever I wanted to turn into. And make the ones that treated me badly when I was young pay in a small way. Like hitting them with Snowballs or Spit balls

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?

If Muggles could use potions I think one of them would be the Draft of Dreamless Sleep, or Felix Felicis. But every Muggle would choose there own Potion that they would try.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?

If I had to use Polyjuice Potion. I would transform into my Great Granddaughter only because she's still a baby. Just to give her mother, my Granddaughter grief. Like she did to us when she was younger.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?

Is there a Potion that you have made that could help cure diseases of all kinds? Not just Magical diseases by Muggle ones too.

-What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
My favorite article was probably Weirdities of the Wizarding World. If there were ever a book on wizarding life hacks, this would sure to be in it. (That would be a fun book to read!) I wish I could shrink all of my stuff and put it in a suitcase! I'm traveling to and from college every few weeks, and this would make packing so much easier!

⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
Absolutely Felix Felices. I'd be fascinated by how it works, and I'd really want to run some experiments on it, put someone in a series of situations where success becomes less and less likely and see what happened. I wonder, if a person who's had some Felix Felices is playing rock-paper-scissors, is their rate of winning higher if they have to win a greater percentage of the rounds? As in, does the potion somehow understand the context and know just how lucky the person has to be? Also, how exactly does it influence the laws of probability?

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
Probably the Beautification Potion. People are obsessed with looks. It would probably become a routine substitute for daily makeup, etc. Either it would become commonplace or there would be a stygma against people who used it, or both.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
Probably my 6th grade science teacher, who I hated. Everyone hated him, he was awful and thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I would transform into him and make a complete fool of myself (well, himself). I would wreck his desk and say awful things to the administration, so that he would be fired. Depending on the timing, I might even trash his home. I'm usually a very calm person, but some people I absolutely detest.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
If you had to start drinking one potion every day during class, which would you choose?
Alternatively, if you could spike the drinks of every single student tonight at dinner, which potion would you choose?

I think It was absurd questions cause I never thought about the similarities between cooking and potions and I find that very interesting.

⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
I think Felix Felicis as I like the idea of a little help being lucky, I am usually very unlucky

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
I am between veritaserum and beautification. Don't tell me that parents wouldn't be happy to use veritaserum to make their kids confess their mischiefs

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?

Hermione Granger. I adore her and I would love to be her for some hours.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?

What do you need to become a master in potions?

My favorite potion is Dr. Ubbly's Oblivious Unction. Because I really do believe that injuries of the mind are the hardest to fix and the hardest to detect. In fact, it is possible that the damage that was done to Ron by the brains, may have in some way affected his behavior in the last book. We do not know if those trace memories may have stayed with him and influenced him in some way.

As far as the Muggles go, I think they would all go for Felix Felicis. People tend to choose what is worse for them, and too many of them would be thinking it would solve all their problems, if they could just win the lottery or something. This is why the Statute for Secrecy is so important. They just do not understand.
Personally I would only use the Polyjuice in the most extreme case. I think it is too dangerous for people to be impersonating others.

A question I would ask Professor Snape? I would ask him if there is a potion to fix a person’s eyesight. My eyes are so bad and I would just like to have perfect vision, which I have not had since the second grade.

Oh, absolutely! I figure there has to be some magical remedy, but Harry never gets his eyes fixed, so maybe there isn't. Of course, Snape would never tell him if there was.

What is your favorite potion and why?
Pepperup potion I think is one of the most useful. It would be nice to have something that could kick a cold.

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
Probably health related potions. Being able to feel better is always a top priority.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
I don't think I would be comfortable turning into someone else. Though if I did I suppose I would turn into someone who had clearance into some top secret areas, because..why not.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
I'd probably ask him about health potions.

- What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
Superstitions was my favorite article because It was really really fun reading them .I enjoyed it a lot and I laughed a lot while reading it.

⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
polyjuice potion is my favorite portion . Because then I would turn into whom ever I like .I would turn into different person's and then I would get to experience their life for at least 1 hour . IT would also be very useful to me in many ways .I could also turn into celebrity's and meet other celebrity's .

-If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
Beautification portion .Because now days the world is running behind beauty .Every one's want's to become beautiful and Not everybody can be beautiful [from outside] . so now day's people are doing plastic surgeries and taking injections and medicines because they think looks are a representation of themself .so I think they would use the beautification portion most commonly.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
If I had polyjuice portion I would transfer into one member from Bts [korean boy band ]because I really adore them and love them and I would love to meet them .so I would turn into someone from the band and then I would talk to the other member's . I would do this because they won't allow normal people to go and meet them .so I would turn into one member from the band and meet others.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
How to make new and good portions ?Since there is no cure for AIDS and in the world many people die because of AIDS so I would ask him to help me to make a portion to cure and prevent AIDS.

-What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
I enjoyed Inside the Quibbler for its drama and animagus mentions.

⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
Felix Felicis is my favourite potion. I love everything about it – its golden colour, its quirky, cheerful nature, and its optimistic use. It also helps that Felix is one of my favourite names.

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
If we’re talking canon, then probably healing potions. It would be so handy to be able to cure common ailments just with a sip of potion. I can also see beautification potions being a strong contender – people already go to such great lengths for their looks, sometimes spending millions of dollars on them, that to be able to use a simple potion for glowing skin and radiant hair would be very tempting.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
It would depend on context. Have I just been ordered to change into someone for fun? Then I’d definitely change into someone beautiful and enjoy how people gazed at me. Am I on a secret mission? Then I’d choose someone nondescript but athletic who would hopefully be able to help me achieve my goals.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
In all honesty, I’d rather punch Snape in the face than utter a single word to him, but okay, I’ll play along. I would ask him the best method he knows to extend the shelf life of potions, as it must be annoying to have them go bad. Of course, he’d probably just say something like “Read a book, you disappointing mudblood” or something, and then I’d be extra-justified in cursing him.

- What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
I couldn't choose a favorite. I just love the Quibbler and all articles.

⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
Probably Antidote for Common potions. It was easy to brew on Pottermore.

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
They'd love a cleaning potion that did everything itself. Just spray the potion on any dusty, dirty, disorganized stuff and it would magically be cleaned and looking great.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
I'd turn into the U.S. president for a year and show that you can care about the environment and the people while still preerving people's pensions that are tied up in stocks and other investments.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be? How can I create my own potions and market them?

- What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
Alright so this is a really difficult question as I really enjoyed the majority of them. I remember reading Dangerous Beasts and chuckling to myself various times (how dare you insult my favourite, precious, cute little elephants >( ), Luna's Logs was very lovely to read as I felt that the character of Luna was captured really good- almost as if it was Luna herself describing the events in the parade! Also the interview with Crookshanks..it caught my attention and, well, I just love the fact that we got to see a glimpse inside the mind of Crookshanks..I once again realised how Slytherin that cat is...
⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
I would most probably like the healing potions (I mean like Skele-Gro, can you believe how less painful and easier everything would be for the patients?) the most, as my real life profession is in medicine and helping people comes naturally to me (almost like an instinct of some sort). Also Draught of Peace- how many people could be relieved from their anxiety, I just love everything about this potion <3
⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
Polyjuice Potion and Felix Felicis most probably. Although it is quite sad that so many people are unhappy with themselves to the point where they would be willing to completely change themselves into someone else, if given the option to see how you would feel like being someone else, probably few of us would have the strength of mind to stay true to themselves and not give in to the temptation. Also imagine being given access to Felix Felicis? Both of these potions are dangerous enough to become addicted to.
⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
I wouldn't use it. I mean, I get what the post tries to imply, what kind of person do you want to be? And of course there are various people whom I regard as having better looks, being more skilled in certain areas or who are better people than me, but I believe that everything is possible if you set your mind to it and that I'd rather achieve my goals without disowning my true self
⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
What type of potions do you think are still very lightly understood and need to be researched further? Or maybe even this one: do you have any tips on how to do research on potions/how to create them? Is it natural to you for did you too need to put a lot of work before creating them?

Overall 403 words (assuming we do not count the questions)

-What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
The "You Didn't Hear It From Us" section was amazing. It was really quite creepy. I wonder where all those whispers are coming from? 😮
⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
My favorite potion is Felix Felicis. It is by far the most useful of any potion in the series, and beyond that, it's one of the prettiest.
⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
There would probably be widespread use of Amortentia and other love potions. They hold an appeal for most people.
⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
If I had to use Polyjuice Potion, I would probably transform into my brother, so I could see what it felt like to look like me, but be more masculine. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else XD
⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
I would ask Professor Snape if he had ever used Felix Felicis. I would suspect he had, at least once in his life.

- What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
I liked the interview with Professor Slughorn best because the article really nailed his personality! I felt bad for the interviewer, Katie, because he kept forgetting her name, which he was known for doing with students he felt were unworthy of his attention (i.e. Ron Weasley).

⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
I think my favorite potion is the Dreamless Sleep potion, mainly because of how it helped Harry to get some rest after his ordeal.

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
Oh, I think they'd soon find the limits of Felix Felicis, as that would likely be the most (over)used potion among Muggles. I could also see them using Amortentia and, among the less honest and more criminal-minded, Polyjuice Potion.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
That's a tough one...I don't know that I'd want to transform into anyone else! I've run through in my mind a host of names of people I could transform into, and I get creeped out thinking about every one of them.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
I would ask the Professor why he appeared to do so little actual teaching in his classes - he seemed to just berate Harry and his friends, throw the recipe for a potion up on the board and tell the students to brew it. I don't recall reading about him offering helpful information about technique - about cutting versus crushing of sopophorous beans, for example, and demonstrating how crushing released the juices better - to help his students succeed. He merely went around and approved or disapproved of the students' work and, rather than offering constructive criticism, only demeaned the students who were struggling. So, yeah, I'd ask Professor Snape why he didn't actually try to teach his students anything...after which I'd probably be hit with detention for the remainder of the school year and into the next...

- What was your favorite article from this issue and why?

It was hard to choose a favorite because they were all good but I think the one I liked the best was Superstitions. I laughed at some of the strange superstitions that it mentioned. Who knew that having a black cat sleep in your cauldron was good luck? I always thought that black cats were bad luck but sleeping in your cauldron is certainly something they would do. I have a cat (not a black one) and she will sleep in anything.

⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?

There are several potions that I would like to try but I think my favorite one is Felix Felicis or liquid luck. It would not only be very useful if you were doing something dangerous like hunting a dark wizard but who wouldn’t want to drink some and then go buy a lottery ticket.

⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?

I could certainly see muggles drinking felix felicis before doing some gambling or buying a lottery ticket. I could also see the beautification potion being popular. People would use it instead of makeup.

⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?

I think I might transform into Professor Umbridge just so I could do something to ruin her day or that she would find embarrassing. Maybe I would confess to all the terrible things she had done like setting the dementors on Harry.

⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?

I think I would ask him why he never updated the potions books. He was clearly very talented in potions and could have easily added some improvements to the potion books. He certainly added his own in the one Harry used in sixth year.

Potions are a very interesting topic! It's one of those things that I really wish were part of our day to day lives, and not just in the HP world ^^

My personal favorite potion is the Skele-Gro potion, because I think that using potions to heal the sick is really the best and most important use for potions - and for magic in general. And not just this particular potion (though, how cool is it to mend or grow bones overnight?), but all healing potions are incredibly important in my opinion. It's also something that I can more easily imagine and can consider almost logical for the non-magical world as well, that if you mix certain ingredients, brew them together so their affect changes and consume them through a potion, then your body will receive the potion's affcet. And if that affect is to heal a disease, well, that makes sense.

It for that reason, that it makes sense to us that the potion would affect how our body would react, that I think healing potions would be the most common of all potions if they were popularily used in the Muggle world. It is easier a concept to believe than some potion that affects our feelings or our luck, don't you think?

Regarding Polyjuice potion, if I ever had to use it (I don't think I'd like to, because I imagine it as a pretty unpleasent experience), then I would use it to appear like a backstage worker on a show I want to sneak into, perhaps? Could be cool to see a show which had all its tickets sold out, and also get a sneak peek behind the scenes, you know? XD

I would never ask Snape to help me brew a potion, I'd be too terrified! If I did ever have the courage to speak to him, I suppose I would ask him what's his favorite potion is. But he'll probably jut glare at me, say nothing and then turn and walk away >.>

- What was your favorite article from this issue and why?
My favorite was the Superstitions article. I always love hearing of different superstitions and where they stem from. I particularly loved the bit on the black cat sleeping in the cauldron being good luck. I am a black kitty mama and have always hated that they were considered "bad luck". My little girl is the best thing that ever happened to me and black cats deserve so much more than a bad rep as unlucky.
⁃ What is your favorite potion and why?
Felix Felicis would definitely have to be the top. I mean, liquid luck, how could it not be? Everyone needs a bit of extra luck, every now and then. This potion, though difficult, is worth every bit of effort and the difficulty makes it just that much more special.
⁃ If Muggles were able to use potions, what do you think would be the most commonly used?
I think the most commonly used would most likely be the healing variety like Pepperup, Skelegro, and the like. They would turn modern medicine on it's head and help so many so much more quickly than current techniques.
⁃ If you had to use Polyjuice Potion, who would you transform into and why?
That is actually a really hard question for me. I think it would be someone that would allow me to see life in a different way. Someone that lives a life completely differently then mine and try to blend in. So that it would enable me to take the expression "walk a mile in my shoes" literally.
⁃ If you could ask Professor Snape one question about Potions, what would it be?
Ooohh, another tough one. I think I would probably ask him what he finds most challenging about being a potions master.

Excellent job on this issue! I like discussing the potions used in the books because I think that's one piece of witchcraft 'lore' that JK Rowling adapted well. We all know of that stereotypical image of a witch with a wart on her nose, stooped over and stirring a cauldron that's letting off noxious fumes. I like how that idea was modernized so that potions are a staple of the wizarding world, capable of a lot of power for both good and evil.

Personally, my favorite potion is Veritaserum. I wouldn't want to use it for anything, but I'm very curious about how it works and wish it had been explored in more depth in the books. Would it be possible for a person to change their phrasing just a bit to continue lying while under the potion's influence? Does it have any power to combat the effects of one's memory on the truth? Is there a trick that people use to phrase their questions just right so that it's impossible to lie or bend the truth?

If muggles could use potions, I think that the most common ones would be health-related. Just imagine being able to take the Pepper-Up Potion whenever you have a cold or flu! I feel like the most beneficial union of the wizarding and muggle worlds in general would be in the area of health as it seems wizards have come up with cures for so many things that muggles are still struggling to deal with.

Admittedly, Polyjuice Potion would probably be pretty popular, too. I personally don't have anyone I'd want to impersonate and no places that I can think to sneak into, but I think I would want to impersonate some mid-tier celebrity. Why? Just imagine the access it would grant you! People would invite you backstage to things, shops would offer you high-end products, everything could go on some fictional tab you could pretend to pay later... 😂

After all of that, the big thing I would ask Professor Snape is about the process of potion development. What is required to make a potion? How do you know which ingredients go together? It would be exciting to try making up my own!
