Hogwarts Extreme is a place for thousands of Harry Potter fans, young and old, to interact together and make their own experience with all of the sections.
Hogwarts Extreme or Hex as the members call it, contains many ways to interact to where you feel like you are in the world of Harry Potter.

All users start out by getting sorted by the sorting hat. Houses are a big part of HEX because of the closeness of house members and the many ways of getting involved in the common room.
Your very personal stats are always displayed for you to reference.
A key component of HEX is the wizard money and shopping system. You start out with an amount of galleons and are free to use them as you choose. Whether it be to shop, pay a user for a rare item, the choice is yours.
  
Shopping consists of literally viewing the stores and deciding what you want.
Better yet, create your own store and stock it with whatever you want.
There are also loads of forums where you can talk about anything. Most forums focus on a certain topic, while some may not at all. Discussion is completely open in public forums.
You also have the opportunity to take classes to earn house points for your house.
House points are updated very often and reflect student points earned on class homework. Users keep track in the Great Hall to see how their house is doing and to see who is leading the race for the house cup.
You also have the ability to have pets and interact with them.
You can also join or create a dorm. There are many dorm areas to choose from.
There are also many clubs you can join. You can also create one of your own.
Feel free to go to the library and read any of the books posted by many members, or write a book of your own with as many chapters as you want.
There are many additions apart of HEX for you to enjoy.
Play the many script and flash based games and try to attain a high score or additional things for yourself.
