There is now a completely new addition to Hex that is going to change the way things are in general site-wide. The new feature is equipped items. Equipped items are basically items that you have on you, or in hand, outside of your inventory, ready for you to use.

The first example of equipped items is the Marauder's Map. Now in order to view the map and to see who is online you will have to purchase a map from Flourish and Blotts and equip it through your inventory actions.

There will be two different kinds of Marauder's Maps that can be bought:
1) The Marauder's Map. This map will allow you to see who is online in the standard format.
2) The Elite Marauder's Map. This map will allow you to see who is on and getting off Hex in real time, no refresh needed, all instant. This map is much more expensive.

The goal with the equipped items feature is to make Hex feel more like you are actually at Hogwarts, so more items and features will be added to it in the future.

Also, now for sale in Knockturn Alley in Borgin and Burkes is the Rare Trophy Case. This trophy case allows you to have up to 100 items, compared to 50 on the regular trophy case.

If you already have a regular trophy case and want to upgrade, simply buy the rare case and go to its actions and click "Put up/Take down for display." This will upgrade your case to 100 items, even if your case is already put up.

Lastly, there were great results from the poll, as well as great feedback in general about t-shirts for Hex. The t-shirts are now officially happening, and will be available for sale starting on Friday, July 3rd. More details to come in the next few days, including the design.
