Fan Fiction has been a long-standing and ever growing avenue which connects creative writers and avid readers. This area of HEX is composed of two parts: the forum and section. The Fan Fiction section is the place where writers can share their original works for everyone to enjoy. Each piece is carefully scrutinized and awarded Galleons accordingly.

The forum section works similar to other forums in HEX. It hosts various monthly challenges which provide writers with different opportunities to hone their skills and win prizes along the way. Among these challenges are: Picture Prompts, Character Journals, Monthly Theme Prompts, Guess the Character, Writers' Circle, Continue the Story, and Fan Fiction of the Month.
